ABOUT LOOPSECTION
A simple idea born from practicing guitar on YouTube.
LoopSection started as a personal frustration: trying to learn fast guitar licks on YouTube, scrubbing back and forth, never landing exactly on the right note. Every musician knows the pain — you want to loop just a few seconds, slow it down, repeat it again and again… but YouTube simply can’t do it well.
Why I built LoopSection
As a guitarist trying to learn solos from YouTube videos, I kept wishing for a tool that could loop small sections, slow them down, and keep the pitch stable. Nothing existed that was simple, fast, privacy-friendly, or enjoyable to use.
Some tools required extensions, downloads, or complicated interfaces. Others were bloated, slow, or disappeared after a year. So I decided to create something I personally wanted:
- A clean interface without distractions
- Precise A/B markers that feel like a real practice tool
- Speed control that updates instantly
- Saved loops that live on your device
- No account, no tracking, no ads
LoopSection was built to make practicing fun again — not to trap you inside yet another platform.
